How many undervalue the power of simplicity, But it is the real key to the heart.”

~William Wordsworth

Days drip into weeks, just like raindrops individually contribute to the formation of a pond in our “backyard” nearly every other day.

And as these spring weeks drip onward, I am reminded yet again how my heart is drawn to simplicity, especially in the little things.

A good hearty soup.

Lettuce from our farmers market.

A laundry line and “garden.”

These are the small daily graces that I forget to see so often.  But these are also the things that bring me the greatest joy.

I’ve updated our privacy policy for this blog to be compliant with the GDPR that you’ve seen floating in all of the emails in your inbox lately.  But seriously.  I blog so infrequently, it felt more like a joke than anything.  Legalities, legalities.

Several of the kids have fevers of 103 tonight, so it’s going to be a quiet night in for us.  I hope you’re faring well after Memorial Day weekend!
